Campaign
A campaign, on Upsight, is a saved Upwork job search with rules and a connected login attached: it catches matching jobs, scores each against the agency's knowledge profile, drafts letters for the suitable ones and files them as the chosen profile once approved.

Upwork lets a freelancer save up to 30 searches as job feeds and return to them from the Find Work page. A campaign starts from the same idea and adds everything that happens after a search returns a job.
A campaign holds:
- Targeting: keywords and filters on budget, rate, client history, experience level and location, previewed against real recent jobs before saving.
- Judgment: a knowledge profile, a scoring rubric and a floor for the suitability score.
- Who bids: the login it sends from and the bid identity, a fixed member, the agency, or best fit.
- Money and hours: rates, a boost strategy and a schedule.
- Timing: bid when a job is posted, at a check age as a late-bidding campaign, or when the client is flagged Hiring Now.
- Control: whether a person approves every proposal or drafts send after a review window, plus a test mode that files nothing.
Each stage hands to the next through a status, so a stage can fail and be fixed without losing jobs. One readiness rule lists what still blocks a start, such as a missing knowledge profile, no named member or no channel for approval requests, and the setup page, the launch button and the campaign header all read that same rule.
A campaign is also the unit of measurement. Matches, skips with their reasons, drafts, sends, Connects, views and replies are all kept per campaign, so two campaigns can be compared on cost per reply rather than on how busy they look.
How Upsight uses it. Campaigns live in the Bidder, are created through a guided setup, and can be managed through Upsight's MCP server as well as the app.
