Agency Job Success Score
An agency's Job Success Score is Upwork's JSS calculated over all of an agency's contracts, by exclusive and non-exclusive members alike, shown on the agency profile and, once the agency qualifies, on its exclusive members' profiles in place of their own.

Upwork says the agency score is calculated the same way as a freelancer's JSS, with one difference: instead of one freelancer's contracts, it looks at every contract the agency holds. Only work done for the agency counts.
Which score a member shows. Every exclusive member sees the agency's score on their profile once the agency has enough outcomes to qualify. Until then, each shows their own personal JSS. Upwork does not publish how many outcomes an agency needs.
People joining and leaving do not move it at once. Upwork takes snapshots of the agency's 6, 12 and 24-month history, scores each window, and displays the best, updated daily. When an exclusive contractor leaves, their contracts stay in the score until they fall out of the best window, and their work history and feedback remain visible on the agency profile. Adding a member with a high personal score does not raise the agency score, because their past individual contracts were not done for the agency.
When the agency closes. Upwork counts the contracts members completed for the agency toward each member's individual JSS. The owner's score reverts to their own contract history, including agency contracts where they were the one hired.
What agencies cannot see. Upwork's Job Success insights are "not yet available for agencies or exclusive agency freelancers", so an agency gets the number without Upwork's breakdown of what moved it.
Why it matters more for agencies. One score covers the whole team, so a single weak contract by any member weighs on every exclusive member's profile and on agency badges. The practical check is to review which contracts fall inside the best window before deciding whether a dip will recover on its own.
