Catalog tiers
Catalog tiers are the up to three priced versions of one Project Catalog project, named Starter, Standard and Advanced, each with its own price, delivery time and revisions, that a client chooses between before checkout.

Upwork's project builder asks for the price and scope in one step. You can "offer up to three tiers" so clients with different needs can pick the level that fits. For each tier you set:
- Price, anywhere from $5 to $500,000 USD
- Delivery days, which Upwork asks you to keep realistic
- Revisions included during the delivery period
On top of the tiers you can add predefined or custom add-ons, such as extra-fast delivery. Custom tier and add-on titles and descriptions are reviewed with the rest of the catalog project and must be free of contact details.
What the client sees. On the project page a client selects a tier and can compare tiers side by side in a chart, then chooses add-ons at checkout, funds the order and pays the one-time Contract Initiation Fee. The tier chosen sets what the catalog order must deliver and by when, counting from the moment the client submits requirements.
Why the structure matters. Three tiers let one listing answer three budgets without three listings, and the comparison chart puts the differences in front of the client in one view. A tier that differs only in price, with the same deliverables and delivery time, gives the client no reason to choose it.
What Upwork does not publish. It gives no data on which tier sells most often, how tier pricing affects a project's position in catalog search, or whether one tier ranks better than three.
How Upsight uses it. Upsight's Services module counts orders per project, as Upwork's project dashboard reports them, so it does not split sales by tier.
