Job feed
The job feed is the personalised list of open job posts a freelancer sees on Upwork's Find Work page, made of jobs Upwork recommends from the freelancer's profile and history plus the searches the freelancer has saved.

Upwork's own article says the feed is changing: your job feed "may look different" because Upwork is testing a new experience with some freelancers. What it does document is the frame. Selecting the Upwork logo from any page opens the feed. A search with filters can be saved, up to 30 saved searches, and a saved search appears on the feed for quick access. A thumbs-down on a result sends Upwork feedback.
What changed. The help center now calls the recommended part of the feed Recommended Jobs, and elsewhere the best match feed; see Best Matches. It no longer documents a separate Most Recent tab: the documented way to watch new posts is a search filtered to recently posted jobs, saved to the feed. Upwork's RSS job feeds have been discontinued, and saved searches, notification settings and the job digest email are what Upwork offers in their place. Freelancers in the Upwork Now beta can also filter the feed to jobs whose client is hiring now.
What the feed is not. It is not every job. It is ranked and filtered for one profile, it differs between two freelancers looking at the same moment, and inside an agency it depends on whose profile is signed in. Jobs that never fit your pattern may never appear.
How Upsight uses it. Upsight's bidder does not depend on one person's feed. It pulls new public posts from Upwork every few minutes, around the clock, and scores each one against every campaign whose keywords and filters it matches. The exception is the Hiring Now campaign, which reads the signed-in feed because that marker exists nowhere else.
