Agency Plus
Agency Plus is Upwork's paid agency membership that lets an agency bid on jobs, appear in search, add team members, share one Connects balance and see competitor bid values; the free Agency Basic plan can browse jobs but not bid on them.
Updated
Upwork's help article lists what the plan includes: unlimited team members, a customisable agency profile URL, "insight into competitor bid values", shared agency Connects, the option for members to spend agency Connects on a profile boost or the Availability Badge, confidential earnings, and Upwork Chat Pro. Business managers can submit proposals for anyone in the agency and members can submit with their own profiles; every agency proposal must name an assigned member. Only the agency owner and agency admins can buy Connects, the agency can roll over up to 400 unused Connects a month, and Connects expire one year after purchase.
The help article does not state the price; it sends you to Membership plan, then Change Plan. Upwork's own 2026 guide to creating an agency puts Agency Plus at $19.99 a month with no required term, and describes Agency Basic as able to browse job posts but not bid, invisible in search, with limited Uma. Agency and freelancer memberships are billed separately, and Connects cannot move between an agency and a freelancer account. Each freelancer can create one agency, and adding members requires the Plus subscription.
An active membership is needed to submit most proposals and accept offers, with one exception: direct offers and invitations from Enterprise clients.
How Upsight uses it. Every agency on Upsight is on Agency Plus by definition, since Basic cannot bid. The shared balance is what Upsight's ledger reads, and because Upwork cannot restrict Connects to particular members, the ledger's per-member cost is the only place an agency sees who spent what.
